Resume

The purpose of the investigation is to find out the causes of HIV infection among residents of the Andijan region, including pregnant women.
Materials and methods of examination. In the course of the research, the Regional AIDS Center of the Andijan Regional Department of Health studied the infection of the HIV-infected population under medical supervision, including transmission of infection to 150 HIV-infected women in the perinatal period. Inspection materials were analyzed statistically.

Results and conclusions: In the perinatal study of HIV-infected pregnant women, 34% of pregnant women in the control group were women in their first pregnancy and 66% were repeatedly pregnant women. The clinical course of pregnancy in the antenatal period in pregnant women with HIV was 18.6% physiological and 81.4% pathological. Extragenital diseases were complicated due to changes in the immune system in pregnant women with re-infection of HIV. This led to premature fetal death and anemia in the antenatal period. Cases of asphyxia were observed in children born with complications of pregnancy in HIV-infected pregnant women, and cerebral status disorder was detected in the early neonatal period.

Key words: HIV infection, pregnancy, infant, asphyxia.
