Resume

Bone fractures have always been one of the pressing problems of medical science and practice. In particular, injuries and death from the impact of blunt objects occupy an important place in the practice of forensic medical examination. According to official data, in the structure of violent death in Uzbekistan, this type of trauma accounts for 60-70% of mechanical injuries. Significant work has been done in this direction over the past decades. It should be noted that the mentioned works are mainly devoted to various aspects of bone fractures, and the issues of determining the duration of rib fractures have not been sufficiently studied.
