EXPRESSION PROPERTIES OF ANTI-APTOPTIC BCL-2 MARKER IN ENDOMETRIOSIS

Resume

This article investigates the level of Bcl-2 receptor expression in both the glandular epithelium and stromal structures in ovarian endometriosis. Ovarian tissue samples from 28 patients were examined using immunohistochemical methods. Immunohistochemical analysis of ovarian endometriosis revealed differences in Bcl-2 receptor expression in the glandular epithelium and in the fibrous capsule, particularly in association with the appearance of glandular structures.From a histotopographic perspective, ovarian endometriosis presents in two distinct stages: initially involving the outer fibrous capsule of the ovary, followed by the development of glandular structures between the fibrous layer and the theca tissue of the ovary.In superficial endometriosis of the outer fibrous capsule of the ovary, Bcl-2 expression is absent in the glandular epithelium, while a proportion of lymphohistiocytic cells in the stroma show positive expression.In deep ovarian endometriosis, moderate to strong Bcl-2 expression is detected in a subset of glandular epithelial cells as well as in all lymphohistiocytic cells of the stroma.
