Resume

Alveolitis in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus represents a complex clinical problem caused by the combined influence of metabolic, microcirculatory, and immune disorders. Standard dental treatment methods used in somatically healthy children are often insufficiently effective in this group of patients, which is manifested by a prolonged inflammatory course, delayed healing of the extraction socket, and a high frequency of complications. The aim of this study is to substantiate and develop an optimized approach to the dental treatment of alveolitis in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus, taking systemic disorders into account. The article considers key directions for optimizing treatment, including correction of local therapy, collaboration with an endocrinologist, and prevention of recurrences.

Keywords: alveolitis, type 1 diabetes mellitus, children, treatment optimization, dental care.
