Resume

Injuries of the maxillofacial region in tuberculosis are a complex clinical and pathogenetic problem in dental practice. Unlike nonspecific inflammatory diseases, dental care provided to patients with tuberculosis should be aimed not only at eliminating local clinical manifestations, but also at taking into account the systemic nature of the infectious process, the immune status and the specific features of the tissue reaction. Standard dental treatment methods used in this group of patients are often not sufficiently effective and can lead to the progression of the pathological process. The purpose of this work is to substantiate the tactics of pathogenetically directed dental care in cases of maxillofacial lesions in patients with tuberculosis. The article discusses the main principles of patient management, the features of local treatment, and the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation.

Key words: tuberculosis, maxillofacial area, dental care, pathogenetic treatment, interdisciplinary approach.
