Resume
Functional dyspepsia is a chronic disorder of digestion characterized by pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen, a feeling of premature satiety, a feeling of heaviness in the epigastric region, and nausea in the absence of serious changes in the gastrointestinal tract. In recent years, functional dyspepsia in type 2 diabetes mellitus is becoming increasingly common and attracting the attention of specialists. In numerous studies, 50-60% of adult patients show various functional disorders of the digestive system. The purpose of the study was the modern diagnosis and treatment of functional dyspepsia of the gastrointestinal tract in patients with DM 2. One of the research objectives was to study age-related changes in the development of functional dyspepsia in type 2 diabetes mellitus; to study the frequency and clinical features of functional dyspepsia in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. For the period 2023-2024, 305 patients with diabetes mellitus who were undergoing inpatient treatment in the endocrinology department of the Andijan City Hospital were examined, of which 144 patients with complaints of dyspepsia were identified. All patients with dyspeptic complaints after laboratory instrumental studies were divided into groups with organic and functional dyspepsia. Based on the IV Roman criteria, functional dyspepsia was divided into two subgroups: epigastric pain and postprandial dyspepsia. This article examines the influence of age-related risk factors for functional dyspepsia as one of the most pressing issues in the modern diagnosis of functional dyspepsia.
