Resume

In the case of peritonitis in infants under one year of age, immunohistochemical studies are important in determining the morphological changes in the mesenteric lymph nodes, the phenotype of lymphocytes that is increased, the proliferative activity of mesenchymal cells, and the degree of apoptosis. In this case, T and B lymphocytes were examined for CD 3, CD4, and CD20 markers, and the results obtained were used to determine the degree of expression of immunomarkers. In 28-day-old and 6-month-old infants, acute deficiency of T lymphocytes prevailed, while in 12-month-old infants, a predominance of B lymphocyte deficiency and moderate expression of T lymphocytes were determined.

Keywords: lymph node, peritonitis, lymphoid follicle, immunodeficiency, infant.
