PATHOMORPHOLOGY OF ENDOMYOMETRY IN POSTPARTUM UTERINE HYPOTONIA

Resume

Uterine hypotony occurs mainly in the postpartum period after 2-4 hours. It is manifested by uneven contractions and decreased rigidity of the myocytes in the area bordered by the basal membrane with placental tissue components and placental ingrowth into the subendometrium facing the placental surface of the myometrium. As a result of contraction of endomyometrial myocytes in the same wavy form, almost no contraction of spiral arteries, diffuse bleeding occurs. This process mainly occurs in inflammation of the uterus and placenta, prolonged labor and other conditions.
