Resume

According to the World Health Organization, anterior abdominal wall hernias are observed in 3–7% of the population in combination with concomitant abdominal diseases and are among the most common surgical conditions, particularly prevalent in individuals of working age. Anterior abdominal wall hernias are associated with various complications, the most dangerous of which is necrosis of the hernia contents, including the intestines, omentum, urinary bladder, and other organs. Abdominal hernias have remained a significant issue in emergency surgery for many decades. Inguinal hernias are the most common type among all hernias and attract the greatest scientific and practical interest.
