Resume

The study included 49 patients with cytological signs of atypia: 23 with LSIL/CIN1, 19 with HSIL/CIN2, and 7 with cervical cancer. The diagnostic protocol comprised liquid-based cytology, PCR testing for high-risk HPV (HR-HPV), targeted cervical biopsy, and locus-specific FISH analysis (Ser9, p16, TP53, ATM) performed on liquid-based cytology material. Excisional procedures were performed in patients with CIN2, as well as in CIN1 patients demonstrating FISH-positive chromosomal aberrations. The control group consisted of 10 patients with NILM and a negative HR-HPV test; due to the absence of clinical indications, biopsy was not performed. The distribution of cytological, virological, and molecular-genetic parameters at different grades of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia is presented.

Key words: cervical intraepithelial neoplasia; liquid-based cytology; FISH; chromosomal aberrations; locus-specific probes; biopsy; excisions.
