Resume

The aim of the study was to study the effect of magnesium therapy on the level of hydroxyproline, elastin and magnesium in the blood serum of pregnant women with undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia (UCTD), and to assess the frequency of obstetric complications depending on the drug intake. The study included 202 pregnant women: 100 with UCTD and 102 without signs of dysplasia (control). Of the 100 women with UCTD, 50 received magnesium therapy, the rest did not. The levels of oxyproline, elastin and magnesium were measured, and the frequency of pregnancy complications was analyzed.

Key words: undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia, roxyproline, elastin, magnesium, pregnancy, obstetric complications, magnesium therapy
