Resume
To enhance the outcomes of assisted reproductive technology (ART), adhesive compounds containing hyaluronic acid are used during embryo transfer in infertile patients. One of the major challenges in ART is that the etiopathogenetic mechanisms of failed embryo implantation are not yet fully understood, which necessitates optimization of both stimulation protocols and methods of patient preparation for embryo transfer. A thorough investigation of the role of hyaluronic acid–containing culture medium in embryo transfer is expected to contribute to improvement in implantation and pregnancy rates, thereby reaffirming the relevance of this topic.
Keywords: assisted reproductive technologies (ART), hyaluronic acid medium, embryo transfer.
