THE ROLE OF VITAMIN D3 IN THE PATHOGENESIS OF MENSTRUAL CYCLE DISORDERS IN ADOLESCENT GIRLS

Resume

The relevance of the study is due to the high prevalence of menstrual function disorders among adolescent girls and the frequent deficiency of vitamin D₃. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of vitamin D₃ on the clinical manifestations of menstrual disorders. The study is based on an analysis of national and international scientific publications addressing the role of vitamin D₃ in menstrual function disorders among adolescent girls. It was found that correction of vitamin D₃ deficiency contributes to the normalization of the menstrual cycle and a reduction in the severity of clinical symptoms. The obtained results confirm the feasibility of including vitamin D₃ in comprehensive therapy.
