Resume
The article examines the incidence, clinical course, and risk factors of liver failure in elderly and senile patients with burn disease. Patients aged over 60 years were included in the study. The results demonstrated that the risk of liver failure significantly increases with advancing age. Changes in liver function parameters were found to be directly associated with the severity of the patients’ clinical condition.
