To analyze the clinical and epidemiological data of patients with COVID-19 hospitalized in Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Epidemiology, Microbiology, Infectious and Parasitic Diseases (RSSPMCEMIPD).   The study included 418 adult patients with COVID-19 were selected by randomization and retrospectively examined, who were treated at RSSPMCEMIPD in the period April-October 2020. All patients underwent bacteriological analysis of sputum. Clinical and anamnesis data, disease severity and PCR results were analyzed.   It was found that 43.8% had contact with a patient with COVID-19. There were women – 49.8%, men – 50.2%. Middle-aged patients predominated – 51.4%, both 60 years and older – 41.1%. In terms of severity, with moderate and severe forms of patients were 60.8% and 39.2%, respectively. In 77% of patients, PCR- for SARS-CoV-2 was positive, the proportion was higher in severe patients.   No significant difference in incidence and severity by gender was found, significantly more often and more severely diseases at the age of 30-59, 60 years and older. The detection of SARS-CoV-2 by PCR did not have a significant difference in severity groups. The severity depended on the presence of comorbid diseases.
