Resume
In modern medicine, various diseases lose their mononosological character and acquire comorbid status. Unfavorable environmental conditions and rising morbidity, including cardiovascular diseases and related pathologies, in the Aral Sea region necessitate strengthening effective disease prevention measures and pharmacotherapy in primary health care facilities. Our study found that salt-sensitive hypertension in the Aral Sea region is associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus, which in turn is associated with coronary heart disease and is characterized by a significantly higher frequency of clinical, hemodynamic, and cardiovascular risk factors
Keywords: arterial hypertension, comorbidity, prevention, pharmacotherapy, ischemic heart disease, diabetes mellitus.
