CLINICAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL CRITERIA FOR OPTIMIZATION OF GASTRIC RESECTION IN PATIENTS WITH MORBID OBESITY

Akbarov F.S. - Central Asian Medical University Uzbekistan

Resume

This article presents the results of a clinical and morphological study of the stomach in patients with morbid obesity to substantiate criteria for optimizing the extent of resection during bariatric interventions. Based on an analysis of clinical parameters, intraoperative data, and histomorphological changes in the gastric mucosa, factors associated with postoperative outcomes were identified. A statistically significant correlation between the severity of morphological changes and the effectiveness of surgical treatment was demonstrated.

Keywords: morbid obesity, bariatric surgery, gastric resection, clinical and morphological criteria, pathomorphology.
