Resume
Background. Recurrent miscarriage, defined as the occurrence of three or more consecutive pregnancy losses, affects 2–3% of women of reproductive age. While isolated early pregnancy loss is relatively frequent, recurrent miscarriage represents a distinct and complex clinical entity requiring tailored diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. Materials and Methods. This review synthesizes evidence from peer-reviewed studies and international clinical guidelines published between 2020 and 2025. Results. In patients diagnosed with antiphospholipid syndrome, combined therapy using anticoagulants and low-dose aspirin proved significantly more effective than aspirin monotherapy, resulting in a 50–60% improvement in pregnancy outcomes. Conclusion. Optimal management of recurrent miscarriage requires an individualized, multimodal treatment strategy integrating surgical correction, hormonal support, and immunologically targeted therapies.
Key words. Spontaneous miscarriage, thrombophilia, APS syndrome, anticoagulants, expectant management, drug therapy, surgical intervention.
