Resume
This article presents the results of a study examining the effectiveness of combination therapy for oral mucosal diseases (OMD) in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). The clinical and functional characteristics of OMD lesions associated with CHF are analyzed, including their morphological structure, microbiological profile, biochemical markers of inflammation, and microcirculation. It is shown that the presence of CHF is associated with a more severe course of dental pathology: these patients are more likely to have ulcerative-necrotic and atrophic lesions, high microbial colonization of the oral cavity, significant changes in salivary parameters (increased levels of malondialdehyde, sialic acids, alkaline phosphatase, decreased pH and lysozyme), and signs of local tissue hypoperfusion. A combination of therapeutic and preventive measures was developed, including ozonation technologies (rinsing with an ozonized solution, ozonized clove oil applications), herbal medicine (applications with Syzygium aromaticum), and adjuvant therapy (vitamins, probiotics). The use of this combination therapy in patients in the main group (O1) resulted in more rapid relief of inflammation, a reduction in pain, and normalization of the microbiome and salivary biochemical parameters compared to standard treatment (O2 group). The results confirmed the high efficacy and safety of the proposed method for the treatment and prevention of oral mucosal lesions associated with CHF. *
