DENTAL STATUS AS A MARKER OF THE SOMATIC HEALTH OF PATIENTS WITH A THERAPEUTIC PROFILE

Resume

The article presents the results of a study of the dental status of patients with a therapeutic profile and assesses the relationship between the condition of the oral cavity and somatic diseases. 320 patients aged 30-65 years were examined at the therapeutic hospital. It has been shown that the deterioration of the dental status reliably correlates with the severity of somatic pathology, especially in cardiovascular and endocrine diseases. It has been established that the integration of dental examination into therapeutic practice allows for improving the quality of diagnostics of somatic pathologies.
