Resume

This study examines the epidemiology and characteristics of allergological pathology associated with helminthiasis in children. The study revealed a high prevalence of parasitic infestations among children with allergic diseases, with giardiasis being the most frequently diagnosed. Significant age-related patterns of infection were identified, with the highest incidence of parasitosis in primary school-aged children (7–10 years), likely related to the conditions of social gatherings and behavioral factors. With increasing age, a decreasing trend in the incidence of helminthiasis and giardiasis was observed. It was established that the presence of parasitic infestation is associated with earlier manifestation of allergic diseases and is accompanied by systemic changes, including anemia, gastrointestinal damage, eosinophilia, and increased levels of total immunoglobulin E.
