AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO THE DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF STAGE I–II CHRONIC CEREBRAL ISCHEMIA

Resume
The article presents the results of evaluating the applied diagnostic and rehabilitation algorithm in patients with stage I–II chronic cerebral ischemia. The study included clinical, laboratory, and instrumental assessments using neuroimaging techniques. The implementation of the developed algorithm was associated with a significant reduction in the severity of dizziness, fatigue, and sleep disturbances, a decrease in the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-alpha), and an increase in brain-derived neurotrophic factor levels. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed improved cerebral perfusion, positive changes in the microstructure of white matter, and a reduction in the manifestations of microangiopathy. The obtained results confirm the advantages of the comprehensive approach over standard therapy and support its implementation in clinical practice to slow disease progression and improve patients’ quality of life.
