RETROSPECTIVE ANALYSIS OF SUICIDAL TENDENCY AMONG WOMEN IN FORENSIC MEDICINE

Resume

The paper examines modern approaches to the forensic medical evaluation of female suicides and the diagnosis of suicidal predisposition. Particular attention is paid to clinical-psychological, socio-behavioral, and morphological factors significant for the expert conclusion. It is demonstrated that female suicidal behavior differs from male behavior in terms of mechanisms, motivation, and methods used, which necessitates the development of specialized diagnostic criteria. The study summarizes key morphological signs, characteristics of the inflicted injuries, as well as data from toxicological, psychiatric, and anamnestic studies that allow for an objective qualification of a case as suicide. It is noted that a comprehensive assessment of the pre-existing psycho-emotional state, prior behavior, social circumstances, and autopsy results increases the accuracy of forensic medical diagnostics and helps identify signs of suicidal risk. The work emphasizes the need for standardizing criteria, considering gender specifics, and expanding a multidisciplinary approach to enhance the effectiveness of forensic medical examination of female suicides.
