Resume

The study was carried out at the clinical base of the Bukhara State Medical Institute. During 2023-2025, plaster jawmodels of 70 children with a mesial bite diagnosis between the ages of 6 and 13 were studied. Anthropometric examinations in plaster models were carried out in order to determine the orthodontic diagnosis in all patients. During the examination, the dimensions of the upper and lower tooth rows, the width of the alveolar arches and the proportions of The frontal segment were evaluated according to the tonn index, the Korkhouse method and the Snagina method. The results obtained showed that in children with mesial bites, the imbalance between the dimensions of the Jaws is characterized by the narrowness of the upper jaw and the forward protrusion of the lower jaw. Analysis of anthropometric indicators has been found to be important in establishing an orthodontic treatment plan.

Key words: mesial occlusion, orthodontics, plaster models, anthropometry, Tonn index, Korkhaus method, Snagina method.
