Resume
This article is devoted to the study of the features of morphological changes in the myocardium of 42 people who died in winter due to coronary heart disease. Based on the materials of the forensic medical examination, a comparative analysis of the macroscopic and microscopic parameters of the heart was conducted. Macroscopic examination revealed an increase in heart mass, thickening of the left ventricle wall, dilation of chambers, clouding of myocardial consistency, and an increase in interstitial edema elements. Histological analysis revealed signs of cardiomyocyte fiber disorganization, hypertrophy and hyperchromia of the nuclei, increased intermuscular spacing, perivascular hyperemia, and interstitial edema. In some cases, elements of fibrosis and segmental dystrophic changes were observed. The obtained results indicate an intensification of ischemic-dystrophic processes against the background of peripheral vasoconstriction and increased hemodynamic load during the winter period.
Keywords: ischemic heart disease, winter season, myocardial morphology, sudden death, forensic medical examination, cardiomyocyte hypertrophy, interstitial edema, perivascular congestion, fibrosis.
