Resume

Post-burn scar deformities and contractures, especially in the joint areas, have significant functional and cosmetic importance. Such conditions can lead to limitation of joint movements and a decrease in patients’ quality of life. One of the effective methods for eliminating scar deformities of the elbow joint is skin grafting. This article analyzes the technical aspects of skin grafting in scar deformities of the elbow joint, as well as approaches to preoperative preparation and postoperative management. The obtained results demonstrate the effectiveness of this method in restoring joint function and improving cosmetic outcomes.

Keywords: elbow joint, post-burn scar deformity, contracture, skin grafting, transplantation, laser therapy.
