Resume

This article investigates the frequency, clinical manifestations, and pathophysiological mechanisms of cardiac arrhythmias in patients with hypothyroidism. The study included 80 patients with hypothyroidism and 20 individuals in the control group. The results demonstrated that sinus bradycardia (51.3%), ventricular extrasystole (43.8%), and atrial extrasystole (40%) were the most prevalent types of arrhythmias among patients with hypothyroidism. Furthermore, cardiac rhythm disturbances were found to be associated with age, hormonal status, and functional parameters of the heart.
