Resume

This study is devoted to the investigation of clinical and functional characteristics of cardiac arrhythmias in patients with thyrotoxicosis. A total of 100 participants were included in the study, of whom 80 patients with thyrotoxicosis and arrhythmias formed the main group, while 20 patients suffering from cardiovascular pathology comprised the control group. During the study, patients’ clinical status, cardiovascular system parameters, and electrocardiographic changes were analyzed. According to the results of our study, the most frequently observed cardiac rhythm disorders in patients were supraventricular extrasystole (66.2%), followed by atrial fibrillation (15%) and ventricular extrasystole (12.5%).

Keywords: thyrotoxicosis, atrial fibrillation, ventricular extrasystole, supraventricular extrasystole
