This article analyzes the role of vaginal microbiocenosis in the pathogenesis of endometrial hypertrophy (EG) in women of reproductive age, as well as the mechanisms of disease development, clinical features and morphofunctional changes. Hyperestrogenemia, hormonal imbalance, disruption of proliferation and apoptosis processes, oxidative stress and changes in receptor systems were considered as the main pathogenetic factors of endometrial hypertrophy. Proliferative activity and cell cycle disorders in endometrial tissue were assessed based on immunohistochemical markers (Ki-67, ER, PR, MMP-9, cyclin D1).
