Resume

This article examines the main etiological factors leading to the development of crossbite in school-aged children, as well as issues related to its early detection and prevention. The study employed clinical, functional, anthropometric, and radiological methods to analyze the anatomo-morphological characteristics of crossbite and the mechanisms of its development. Based on the obtained results, preventive recommendations were developed.
