Objective: To evaluate the effect of urinary kallidinogenaze (Kalgen 0.15 PNA) on total peripheral vascular resistance in patients with cerebral infarction. Methods:All patients were divided into 2 groups: the control group, which included 32 patients receiving traditional therapy, and the study group, which included the remaining 32 patients who, in addition to the specified therapy, received Kalgen 0.15 PNA. Total peripheral vascular resistance (TPCR) was calculated using the formula. Results: Kalgen had a positive effect on TPCR in patients in the study group. In almost all patients, a decrease in TPCR was observed against the background of ongoing therapy as early as the 3rd day, without the use of antihypertensive drugs. Conclusions: Kalgen 0.15 PNA (urinary kallidinogenaze) reduces vascular resistance in brain infarction at earlier stages, contributing to improved perfusion of ischemic brain areas (penumbra zones)
Key words: ischemic stroke, total peripheral vascular resistance, urinary kallidinogenase, kinin-kallikrein system, blood pressure.
