Resume
According to the pathomorphology of the adrenal gland in acute coronary syndrome (ACS), during the attack period, there is a complete blood count in all layers of the adrenal gland, in the medulla layer, saturated chromaffin cells are enlarged, some of which are rich in lipid inclusions, and foci of necrobiosis are also detected. The presence of spongiocytes of various sizes in the cortical areas of the adrenal gland, the highest increase in lipid inclusions in their cytoplasm, massive complete blood count and diapedetic hemorrhage in the capillaries lead to necrosis in the cells of this area, which, as a result, also causes the manifestation of adrenal hormonal deficiency.
Keywords: Acute coronary syndrome, adrenal gland, pathomorphology.
