BIOMARKERS OF AIR TRACT INFLAMMATION IN PATIENTS WITH SEVERE ASTHMA

Resume

Severe asthma (BA) is a heterogeneous disease characterized by different phenotypes and endotypes, which are diagnosed using various biomarkers. The prevalence of severe asthma phenotypes and endotypes in real-world clinical practice has been poorly studied. Lifelong acquired bronchial asthma is one of the most common diseases in humans and one of the main causes of death from infectious diseases. To date, sufficient data have been collected to create national guidelines for the management of patients with acquired bronchial asthma. The main goal of the clinical guidelines is to improve the quality of diagnosis and treatment of patients with acquired bronchial asthma in outpatient clinics and inpatient settings. The aim of this study was to evaluate biomarkers of T2-mediated airway inflammation in patients with severe asthma.

Key words: bronchial asthma, biomarkers, T2 inflammation, allergy, respiratory viruses, corticosteroids, epithelial layer, beta-agonists.
