MULTIPLE MORPHOMETRIC INDICATORS OF THE PANSUM IN COVID-19-ASSOCIATED DIABETES
B. Sharipova - Tashkent State Medical University
Resume
Histomorphometry of all structural structures of the pancreas in patients infected with COVID-19, based on a number of numerical data, shows a sharp increase in age-related sclerotic and trophic changes. This confirms that in the covid-19 infection, the functional areas of the pancreas increase by 1.4-2.4 times compared to the control group, and the main changes are atrophic and sclerotic changes. Morphometric studies showed that the size of the pancreatic acinar structures, the size of the islets of Lwangerhans, and the area occupied by the stromal components increased compared to the control group.
Keywords: Covid-19, pancreas, morphometry, confocal imaging.
