Resume

This article discusses the clinical and neurological features of fine motor impairments of the hands in children with cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy is one of the most common causes of motor dysfunction in childhood and is characterized by disturbances in muscle tone, coordination, voluntary movements and functional activity of the upper limbs. Fine motor impairments of the hands are of particular importance, as they significantly limit a child’s ability to perform self-care activities, writing, learning tasks, object manipulation and social adaptation. The article analyzes the characteristics of hand motor disorders in different clinical forms of cerebral palsy, including spastic, dyskinetic and ataxic manifestations. Special attention is given to the assessment of muscle tone, grip strength, finger coordination, movement accuracy and the degree of functional limitations. The obtained data may contribute to early diagnosis, development of comprehensive rehabilitation programs and improvement of corrective interventions aimed at restoring fine motor functions in children with cerebral palsy.

Keywords: cerebral palsy, fine motor skills, hand, children, motor disorders, muscle tone, coordination, rehabilitation, neurological status.
