Resume
This article discusses the effectiveness of rehabilitation exercises aimed at developing fine motor skills of the hands in children with cerebral palsy. Impairment of hand and finger function in cerebral palsy is one of the important factors limiting a child’s independence and negatively affects self-care skills, learning, writing, drawing and object manipulation. The study analyzes the influence of a set of special rehabilitation exercises on muscle tone, grip strength, finger coordination, movement accuracy and functional abilities of the hands. Particular attention is paid to exercises aimed at improving grasping, flexion and extension of the fingers, bimanual coordination, sensorimotor stimulation and daily living skills. The results indicate that regular use of rehabilitation exercises contributes to the improvement of fine motor skills, reduction of spasticity, enhancement of hand function and improvement of the quality of life of children with cerebral palsy.
Keywords: cerebral palsy, fine motor skills, hand, rehabilitation exercises, children, spasticity, coordination, grip function, restorative treatment.
