THE ROLE OF LABORATORY AND INSTRUMENTAL METHODS IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF TIC DISORDERS IN CHILDREN

Resume

The article presents the results of laboratory and instrumental assessment in children with tic disorders. A total of 127 children aged 1–18 years with tic hyperkinesias and 45 healthy controls were examined. Electroencephalographic, electromyographic, neuroimaging, and laboratory parameters were analyzed. Significant functional changes in brain bioelectrical activity, neuromuscular dysregulation, and correlations between tic severity and EEG/EMG abnormalities were identified. The study demonstrated high diagnostic value of комплекс laboratory and instrumental examination in children with tic disorders.
