ANALYSIS OF NEUROMOTOR AND NEUROSENSORIAL DISORDERS IN ANIMALS UNDER ACUTE AND CHRONIC IMMOBILIZATION STRESS

Resume

Stress is a nonspecific, general response of the body to various damaging factors that threaten homeostasis. Acute immobilization stress caused the most pronounced decrease in all motor parameters studied: grip strength, motor coordination, and voluntary locomotor activity. Chronic immobilization stress maintained a significant decrease in forepaw grip strength, but the Rota-Rod NG and Ugo Basile running wheel parameters approached control values and significantly exceeded those in the acute group. This indicates that acute stress has a more pronounced disruptive effect on motor function, while chronic exposure results in partial functional adaptation of the motor system.

Key words: acute stress, chronic stress, immobilization stress, motor function, motor function, adaptation.
