TO STUDY THE PREVALENCE AND INTENSITY, DYNAMICS OF FISSURE CARIES OF PERMANENT TEETH IN CHILDREN

Resume

Anatomical features of the structure of the chewing surfaces of teeth, long periods of maturation of enamel folds and imperfect diagnosis of early forms of caries are identified as the main factors in the development of carious lesions of the fissures. The preparation of the hard tissues of the tooth in the area of the carious lesion, followed by the replacement of the defect with an appropriate filling material, currently remains the main method of treating fissure caries.
