MORPHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN BRONCHIAL GLANDS IN PRENATAL ONTOGENESIS AND IN CHILDREN WITH PNEUMONIA

Resume
The study of morphological and functional features of the development of bronchial glands in fetuses in prenatal ontogenesis and in pneumonia is an urgent problem. Mucus appears on the surface of the epithelial lining as a result of the secretion of goblet cells and from the proteinaceous – mucous glands in the form of drops. The material for the study was the lungs and bronchi of deceased newborns not associated with pathologies of the lungs, as well as with pneumonia. Paraffin sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin, according to the Van Gieson method, as well as alcian blue to detect mucin in the bronchial glands. The study made it possible to establish that protein-mucous bronchial glands are found in large numbers on the territory of large bronchi. Protein – mucous glands of the bronchi are evenly distributed in dead newborns not associated with pathologies of the lungs, and are mainly located in areas devoid of cartilage.
