MORPHOLOGICAL PARAMETERS OF THE FACE OF CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS WITH DENTAL ANOMALIES

Resume

The morphometric indicators carried out in the age groups 6-9, 10-13 and 14-18 years and in healthy children and adolescents of this age group with anomalies of the dental and maxillary system were compared.The highest growth rate of the physiological height of the face was observed in healthy boys aged 14-18 years, and the lowest – at the age of 6-9 years.In healthy girls, as well as in boys, the highest growth rates were observed at the ages of 6-9 years and 14-18 years (4.2% and 5.2%), the lowest -at the age of 10-13 years.In boys with anomalies of the dental-maxillary system, the highest growth rate of the physiological height of the face was observed at 14-18 years, the lowest – at 6-9 years.Even in girls in this group, the highest rate was observed at the age of 14-18 years, and the smallest -at the age of 6-9 years.
