CHRONIC HEART FAILURE AND EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES IN ELDERLY PATIENTS

Resume

The effectiveness of teaching “self-help” and “self-control” in elderly and senile patients was studied in 107 patients with chronic heart failure. The training program was completed by 54 patients who made up the main group, 53 patients who did not receive training made up the control group. According to the results of the study, a statistically significant decrease in the number of unscheduled visits to the main group was determined compared to patients in the control group. The program of education of patients of elderly and senile age in aspects of self-management and self-management in chronic heart failure is effective in terms of improving the control of their adherence to therapy and the prognosis of the disease.
