Resume

The study analyzed Y-chromosome AZF microdeletions, CFTR gene mutations, semen parameters, and acquired risk factors in different hormonal forms of male infertility. The results demonstrated that AZFa and AZFb microdeletions are primarily associated with hypergonadotropic hypogonadism, AZFc deletions show phenotypic variability, and the CFTR_F508del mutation is detected in normogonadotropic eugonadism. Additionally, paternal age and smoking may play a potential etiological role in the occurrence of AZF microdeletions.
