Resume

The scientific article presents morphological changes in the skin and subcutaneous tissue under the conditions of an experimental carbuncle on a model of diabetes mellitus (DM) and the effects of various surgical treatment methods. The experimental studies were conducted at the laboratory of the Vakhidov Russian Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery between 2024 and 2025. The authors describe in detail the methodology for modeling DM and the formation of a carbuncle in the neck region in laboratory rats. The results of the study show that the use of the laser method of surgical treatment in combination with a combined gel composition provides rapid wound cleansing from necrotic tissues, early restoration of microcirculation, formation of granulation tissue and acceleration of epithelization.

Keywords: modeling of DM, carbuncle, morphological features of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, laser exposure, microcirculation, epithelization, granulation.
