CLINICAL AND BIOCHEMICAL CRITERIA DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF PURULENT-INFLAMMATORY INFLAMMATIONS OF UTERINE ADDITIONS

Resume

Purulent-inflammatory diseases of the uterine appendages remain a significant issue in gynecology due to their high prevalence and risk of complications such as infertility and chronic pelvic pain. This article presents clinical and biochemical criteria for the diagnosis of these conditions and their role in treatment strategy selection. It has been shown that the combination of clinical symptoms (lower abdominal pain, fever, abnormal discharge) with laboratory inflammatory markers (leukocytosis, elevated ESR, C-reactive protein, and procalcitonin levels) significantly improves diagnostic accuracy and enables early detection of complicated forms.

Keywords: purulent-inflammatory diseases, uterine appendages, C-reactive protein, procalcitonin, diagnosis, treatment.
