Resume

The article presents the results of an experimental morphological study on the regeneration of artificially created bone tissue defects in rabbits using the biologically active osteosubstituting material BG-1D based on biologically active glass. The relevance of the work is determined by the need to develop osteoplastic materials possessing high biocompatibility, the ability to fully fill bone defects, ease of administration, and stimulating effects on osteogenesis processes. Two groups of animals were used in the experiment: in the experimental group, the defect was filled with BG-1D, while in the control group, the defect was left without plastic material. Observations were conducted dynamically after 1, 2, and 3 months, followed by macro- and microscopic examination of the bone tissue. Histological specimens were stained with hematoxylin and eozine and examined under a LEITZ BIOMED light microscope. It was established that in the experimental group, after 1 month, signs of partial fusion of the composite material with bone beams and the presence of spongy bone tissue around the defect zone were noted. The obtained data indicate that the use of BG-1D contributes to a more intensive and early course of reparative osteogenesis compared to independent bone tissue regeneration.
