Resume
The increase in pregnancy rates among HIV-positive women is a direct consequence of the increasing proportion of women of reproductive age among this population. HIV status is a risk factor for both obstetric and perinatal complications. The course of pregnancy in HIV-positive women is influenced by a large number of factors, both external and internal. The importance of timely and appropriate treatment of complications arising during pregnancy in improving perinatal outcomes is undeniable. In order to study the impact of HIV infection on the development of gestational and perinatal complications, a comparative analysis of the course of pregnancy and childbirth, as well as the postpartum period, was carried out.
Keywords: pregnancy, HIV infection, gestational complications, perinatal complications.
