OCCUPATIONAL RISK FACTORS AMONG MUNICIPAL WORKERS AND PREVENTION

Resume

The study provides a hygienic assessment of working conditions and occupational risk factors among municipal improvement workers. The impact of noise, dust, vibration, exhaust gases and unfavorable microclimate on workers' health was investigated. According to research results involving 120 workers, exposure to physical factors (noise, vibration) was 38%, chemical factors (dust, gases) - 32%, biological - 18%, psychophysiological load - 12%. Chronic bronchitis was detected in 65% of workers, musculoskeletal disorders in 48%, hearing loss in 34%. Comprehensive preventive measures were developed: full use of personal protective equipment, optimization of work and rest schedules, implementation of periodic medical examinations, compliance with sanitary-hygienic requirements.
