DIAGNOSTIC AND TREATMENT ASPECTS OF CHILDREN WITH VARIOUS VARIANTS OF CRYPTORCHISM

Resume

The authors performed a comparative analysis of diagnostic and surgical treatment outcomes in children with various clinical and anatomical variants of cryptorchidism. The study included 385 patients aged 1 to 16 years, in whom the effectiveness of conventional and differentiated surgical approaches was evaluated. In the main group, a developed diagnostic and treatment algorithm was applied, taking into account testicular localization, age-related characteristics, and the possibilities of minimally invasive technologies. According to the authors, individualized surgical strategy, targeted use of laparoscopy, and an improved method of testicular fixation increased the rate of favorable outcomes up to 93.8%. The findings confirm that early diagnosis and timely orchiopexy are essential for preventing morphofunctional disorders and improving long-term treatment outcomes.
