Resume

Despite the development of healthcare systems, particularly obstetric and maternity services in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the incidence of perinatal pathology remains high and reaches approximately 60.5%, with no tendency to decrease. Hypoxic-ischemic injuries and their complications occupy one of the leading positions in the structure of neonatal morbidity and mortality. Hypoxic-ischemic lesions of the central nervous system are of particular clinical significance, as they can subsequently lead to maladaptation in children and the development of severe disabling diseases. Currently, perinatal lesions of the central nervous system in newborns and infants represent one of the most important problems of modern perinatology and pediatric neurology.
